Local school districts are also increasing security today in the wake of the alleged threat against Oak Hills earlier this morning.
School superintendents at Butler and South Butler sent emails to parents this morning saying that they were informed of the threat by local law enforcement earlier today.
They add that none of their particular schools or districts were referenced in the threat.
But, both superintendents added that they take all threats seriously and are asking law enforcement and school police to remain vigilant.
Both schools will be operating on normal schedules for the rest of the day, unless law enforcement urges a change.
