A Cranberry attorney will return to Harrisburg for a second term as State Representative for the 12th State House district.
Preliminary returns have Stephenie Scialabba defeating Democratic opponent Robert Vigue to represent an area including Adams, Cranberry, and Jackson Townships.
Scialabba was able to secure nearly 65% of a total of nearly 40,000 votes counted. All results are unofficial until approved by the Election Board.
This represents an increase in the margin of the race two years ago between the same two candidates when Scialabba received about 62% of just over 30,000 votes cast.
