Seats are still available on the caravan of buses leaving Butler County and heading to the nation’s capitol Friday for the annual March For Life.
About 500 local participants are expected to travel to Washington D.C. for the march, which is now in its 47th year. The march takes place this weekend because tomorrow (Wednesday) marks the anniversary of the date that abortion was legalized in 1973.
The theme of this year’s march is “Unique from Day One: Pro-Life is Pro-Science,” which emphasizes the scientific evidence that life begins at conception.
Departure times and locations vary, but most buses will leave around 6 a.m. Friday and return about 11 p.m.
