We dealt with icy roads on Wednesday morning, and we’re expected to deal with possibly several inches of snow this weekend, but there is a storm system in between to pay attention to.
Between 1-2 inches of snow is expected to fall beginning Thursday evening and continuing through early Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Thursday’s high temperature is expected to be about 30 degrees and temperatures won’t drop too much, at all, Thursday night.
The snow could cause icy conditions on local roadways. You’re reminded to drive carefully and slowly.
Forecasters expected western Pennsylvania will get a reprieve from winter weather for much of the day Friday and early Saturday, but then snow begins to fall Saturday afternoon. It’s expected to continue falling through Sunday. We could receive several inches of snow.
Bitter cold air also arrives Sunday and sticks around into early next week with subzero wind chills, according to the NWS.
