The Secretary of the Commonwealth has confirmed the unofficial results from the 2024 general election were accurate.
Each county conducted a 2% statistical audit and another 32 completed a risk-limiting audit, which saw over 37,000 ballots hand-tallied.
According to Secretary Al Schmidt only six votes were identified to have a discrepancy resulting in a two-vote change. These discrepancies can be credited to human error or unclear marks that lead to subjective decisions on a voter’s intent.
The total unofficial results can be found on the departments election returns website.
