At least one person was seriously injured as a result of a crash involving a semi truck near the Clearview Mall Thursday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center at 1 p.m. for the crash on North Main Street Extension (Route 8 North) near Concordia Way.
Crews from Unionville, Butler Township, and Butler City were among those dispatched to find a truck over a hillside and at least one person entrapped.
Three Butler EMS ambulances were asked to respond and a STAT MedEvac helicopter was called to land at the mall to transport a patient with rib and chest injuries.
