It was announced yesterday that Social Security benefits will rise by 3.2 percent and a federal political leader is applauding the Biden Administration.
In statement released by Senator Bob Casey, the Chairman of the Special Committee on Aging, he praised the Biden administration for their commitment to seniors: “From strengthening Social Security to finally allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices, over the last two years the Biden Administration and Democrats in Congress have taken unprecedented action to bring down costs for seniors.”
The 3.2 percent cost of living adjustment is in addition to the 8.8 percent increase in 2023 and will take effect January of 2024.
