The highest ranking member of the Pennsylvania Senate has tested positive for COVID, which comes just before an expected run for Governor.
Jake Corman announced the positive diagnosis yesterday and said he is experiencing mild symptoms. He also notes that he was fully vaccinated.
Corman was expected to announced his candidacy today seeking the Republican nomination for governor. It’s unclear when that announcement will now come.
The 57-year-old Corman is from central PA and has served in the senate since 1999, taking over as Senate President in 2020.
