A local lawmaker will once again join an organization that provides financing to municipalities for infrastructure improvement projects.
State Senator Joe Pittman has been reappointed to the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority Board on PENNVEST. Pittman has been representing the Senate Republican Caucus on the board since June of 2019.
“It’s been something that has been of great benefit to the district I represent, and I’m happy to not only lend a voice to the PENNVEST board on behalf of my colleagues but more importantly my constituents of the 41st district,” Pittman said.
PENNVEST provides grants and low-interest loans to fund sewer, storm water, and drinking water projects across the state. In addition to improving the environment and health of residents, this board also provides opportunities for economic growth and jobs.
