Pennsylvania Republican Senator Pat Toomey says he will consider the nominee to replace Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the weeks before the fall election.
Toomey was the latest GOP senator to say he would allow a hearing and vote to take place on President Trump’s nominee.
In 2016, Toomey said it was best to wait until a new president was elected to choose a new Supreme Court Justice. This year, he cites that the Senate and President are from the same party, making it a different set of circumstances than four years ago.
