Republican Senator Pat Toomey says he will vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
Toomey met with Barrett Wednesday and said that her record and reputation makes her qualified to serve on the court.
Barrett moved through the Senate’s Judiciary Committee Thursday morning despite Democrats boycotting the vote. She is expected to go before the full Senate sometime next week.
