Seneca Valley Boys Soccer advance to PIAA final/Mars Girls reign ends

PIAA Soccer Playoffs:
–The Seneca Valley boys soccer team reached the state championship following a 2-0 win over Conestoga last night in the Class 4A Semifinals. Max Marcotte and Gavin Loya scored for Seneca Valley. The Raiders will meet Lower Merion Saturday in Mechanicsburg. Lower Merion defeated Parkland 1-0 in the other Semifinal.
–The Mars girls soccer team’s attempt to repeat as state champions ended with a 2-0 loss last night to Moon the Class 3A Semifinals. The Planets had been three-time defending state champs.
