Students at a local elementary school will have a chance to learn about coding from employees of the Google Corporation later this week.
As part of Computer Science Education Week, students at Haine Elementary School in Cranberry Township will have the chance to talk with “Googlers” Wednesday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Fourth grade students will get more information about careers in computer coding and have an opportunity to ask the Google employees about their education and experience.
Computer Science Education Week is an annual program designed to inspire an interest in computer science in kids of all ages.
