A local organization has received recognition for providing leadership and structure when families needed it most.
The Seneca Valley Foundation has been honored as a Community Champion by the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber.
With a traditional focus on STEM, early literacy, and global citizenship, the Foundation has expanded their efforts over the past two years to meet many additional needs of students and staff during the pandemic.
Superintendent Dr. Tracy Vitale has guided the Foundation to connect resources such as food and household products with students and families in need to preserve remote learning, create memories, and boost staff morale.
