Some Seneca Valley students will see a familiar face as the new principal of their school.
The school board approved the hiring of Dr. Tina Wentz as the principal of the Rowan Elementary School in Cranberry Township during a meeting earlier this month.
Dr. Wentz has worked in the Seneca Valley School District for nearly nine years as the assistant principal of Connoquenessing Valley Elementary.
Dr. Wentz began in the role of acting Principal at Rowan Elementary School in August. Previous Rowan principal Nannette Farmar retired earlier this month.
