The Seneca Valley School District is outlining their tentative plans to return to in-person instruction starting in January.
District officials say they hope to return to a cohort-hybrid model for all grades beginning at various points in January.
Elementary students are expected to return starting January 5th; secondary students on January 13th.
According an email sent to parents, these plans are tentative because Butler County remains in the substantial level of coronavirus transmission as outlined by the state.
They say in order to move to in-person, five-day instruction, the county needs to be in moderate transmission, which means less than 100 new cases per 100,000 residents. That number is currently at 300.7.
