The Seneca Valley School District is making some administrative changes to allow for restructuring in the special education department.
A their meeting Monday night, the Seneca Valley School Board took action based on the upcoming retirement of current Special Education Director Gerald Miller.
Dr. Jeff Roberts will transition from Supervisor of Gifted and Student Services to Director of Student Services. Dr. Mallory Eyles will become the new Assistant Director of Student Services after previously serving as Assistant Director of Special Education. Finally, Ashley Pattison moves from Behavioral Specialist in Special Education to Supervisor of Special Education.
These actions will allow for the district to collapse a position in the budget for the upcoming 2021-22 school year.
