The Seneca Valley School District is being honored by a state organization for resilience, responsibility, community connections, and strong educational programming.
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association recently designated Seneca Valley as a Great Pennsylvania School.
In order to receive this recognition, schools must demonstrate that all teachers have all necessary certifications as well as that students have access to career and advanced courses.
Also, schools must use innovative programming, provide beneficial extracurricular activities, prepare for emergencies, and provide mental health support.
