A teacher in the Seneca Valley School District is being recognized with a statewide award.
Mike Manipole is a Health and Physical Education teacher at the Ryan Gloyer Middle School. He was recently honored with the Ann Moniot Outstanding Middle Level Teacher Award from the Pennsylvania Association for Middle Level Education.
This award is presented to an educator who has “positively influenced middle level education and students within their school, has a passion for teaching that is contagious to those around them, and someone who creates positive and caring relationships with their students and their colleagues”.
The Ryan Gloyer Middle School principal commends Manipole for his positive energy and work ethic at school as well as in the community. Manipole credits the “collective dedication and hard work” of students as well as fellow teachers and administrators.
