The Seneca Valley School District will host a forum tonight on the importance of school security.
The program- titled “Designing Safe & Secure Schools”- is free and open to parents of students and the general public. It begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Seneca Valley Senior High School Auditorium. The program is not recommended for children, however childcare will be provided.
The forum will feature presentations from a panel of school safety experts and police officers from the district, Jackson and Cranberry townships. State police will also be in attendance.
The program is part of Seneca Valley’s ‘Healthy Schools’ initiative, which has chosen a different pertinent topic to focus on every month.
