The 2025 Property Tax/rent rebate application for older and disabled state residents has opened.
While in Pittsburgh late last week, Governor Josh Shapiro announced the reopening for the rebate program that can see some residents receive up to $1,000.
Pennsylvanians 65 and older, widows and widowers 50 and older, and those with a disability 18 and older making under $46,520 a year can qualify for a rebate.
Those looking to sign up can go to mypath.pa.gov for the program or call 1-888-222-9190.
The deadline to apply is June 30 of 2025 and rebates can be distributed as early as July 1 2025.
