Did you know that September is National Recovery Month and it has its own color?
Counselor Ruth Ann Durso, with the Butler Health System, told us that the base color is always purple. The accent color usually changes. This year, the accent color is a dark pink.
She says you can find resources, toolkits and information online by searching ‘recovery month’, typing in SAMHSA, or by going online to www.recoverymonth.gov.
SAMHSA stand for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
