The Seven Fields-Evans City Regional Police Department is down a couple of officers following multiple resignations.
According to our news partners at WPXI, the resignations for two full-time and one part-time officer happened over the last few weeks. They officially go into effect today.
The police department had five officers and is now down to three officers, including the chief.
Officials with the borough say that it will not impact responses to medical emergencies. But, may impact traffic control. The department is only able to fill 15 of their 35 shifts.
No reason was given for the resignations, but officials say they will try to fill the positions immediately.
