Seven Fields officials say borough operations are as usual following the arrest of the mayor.
We first told you about this story earlier this week, when 44-year-old Dean Galitsis was charged following a domestic incident with his wife, Tami. The incident happened over the weekend at their house on Northridge Drive.
Mayor Dean Galitsis told police that an argument his wife escalated to a point that Tami threatened him with a knife and the two got into a physical fight, leaving Dean with injuries.
However Tami claimed self-defense, saying that Dean became overly aggressive.
Borough officials say they are aware of the situation and “believe it is a personal matter” that does not impact borough operations.
Both Dean and Tami were taken to the Butler County Prison following the domestic situation.
