Another person has died because of COVID-19 in Butler County, according to the state’s update on Wednesday.
However, the rate of new COVID-19 cases in Butler County continues to slow.
Only two more confirmed cases were reported by the state, bringing county’s total to 164.
Across the Commonwealth, there were just over 1,100 new cases reported along with 56 more deaths.
To date, there are now over 35,000 COVID-19 cases and 1,622 deaths in Pennsylvania.
There has been over 1,800 negative tests in Butler County and 136,272 negative tests performed across the state.
Butler Memorial Hospital is treating eight patients for COVID-19 with one person in ICU.
