After a beautiful, summer weekend, rain is back in the forecast for Monday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Butler, and surrounding counties, warning of a “slight risk for severe thunderstorms late Monday afternoon and evening.”
“The main threat will be damaging wind gusts. Large hail and an isolated tornado is also possible,” according to the memo.
Following Monday’s forecasted rain, the majority of the rest of the work week looks dry and sunny.
