After a string of sunny and warm days, there is a good chance of severe weather for Butler County Thursday.
Strong winds and rain are in the forecast according to the National Weather Service.
Early Thursday morning, the system was in the mid-west and was moving eastward. Although, the system was starting to break up, making radar predictions more difficult this afternoon.
The National Weather Service says Butler could see anywhere from a quarter to half inch of rain, but it may be more if thunderstorms happen.
