A New Castle man has pleaded guilty to sex trafficking a Grove City teenager.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 24-year-old David Monrean was in court Tuesday in front of a federal judge. Another man from New Castle, 27-year-old Ronald Hartman, also pleaded guilty to the crime earlier this year.
The case began in August of 2016 when the victim disappeared from her Grove City home after being released from a heroin addiction program. The victim’s mother discovered she was talking to one of the men on Facebook about prostitution in exchange for heroin.
The two men allegedly drove to Grove City to pick her up and take her to an Ohio motel where she engaged in prostitution.
