With spring now officially here, there’s a chance for local runners and walkers to get active outdoors this weekend.
Harmony’s annual Shamrock Shuffle is set for this Saturday. The day features a variety of different races from a half-marathon to a one-mile fun run.
The half-marathon begins at 7:30 a.m. and is a track that includes a hilly terrain for runners. Organizers say it’s good preparation for the Pittsburgh Marathon in May.
Proceeds from the day benefit the Zelienople Rotary Club.
