Governor Josh Shapiro is touting a new bill that will expand the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program.
Also known as PTRR, the program is now available to nearly 175,000 more seniors and those with disabilities in the state according to Shapiro’s office.
The program will increase the maximum senior rebate from $650 to $1,000.
It will also increase the income cap to $45,000 for homeowners seeking a rebate.
The new guidelines will go into effect next year.
