Sharon L. Hoffman Reed, age 66, of Mt Chestnut, passed away Thursday morning un expectantly at her residence of natural causes.
Born April 27, 1953 in Butler, she was the daughter of Margaret Chaney Hoffman and the late Eugene Hoffman.
She was a member of the St. Johns Reformed Church in Butler.
Sharon was retired from the state department. She had been a clerical secretary at different buildings in the Slippery Rock Area School District, Butler Country Welfare Office, and State Prisons.
She loved traveling with her mother Margaret and many friends. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and her dog Sunshine.
She is survived by her children Farrah (Todd) McKinney of Cowansville and Stefanie (Bob Dillaman) Cunningham of Butler; her two granddaughters Sierra McKinney and Hailey Cunningham; her mother Margaret Hoffman of Butler; her brother Larry (Hope) Hoffman of Butler; nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Hoffman.
Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8pm at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, 11am, viewing from 10am til time of service, at St. John’s Reformed Church, 494 Evans City Rd, Butler, with her pastor Rev. Jarrod Crawford, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St John’s Reformed Church Cemetery, Butler.
