Should be an interesting night at Sharon Speedway tonight as the All-Star Circuit of Champions arrives. Nascar stars Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell are already on the entry list. Circuit owner Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne have also been running as part of “Ohio Speedweek”. Larson has already won two of the dirt track races this week, and has a runner-up.
Speaking of Kasey Kahne of Leavine (la-VINE) Family Racing, he will have a new crew chief when the Monster Energy Series resumes this coming weekend in Sonoma, California. John Leonard, who began this season as the lead engineer on the Number-95 Chevrolet, will replace Travis Mack beginning with Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350. Kahne’s best finish through the first 15 races of the season is seventeenth. He’s twenty-eighth in the regular-season standings, 130 points short of a playoff berth with eleven races remaining before the post-season field is set
