Starting Friday, reservations will be accepted for those wishing to use a shelter inside Butler County-owned Alameda Park in Butler Township.
The reservation process began at 8:30 a.m. at the Butler County Government Center. It’s typically a competitive process and residents wishing to secure a shelter are asked to call the Butler County Parks and Recreation offices to make sure their preferred date is available. County programs do take precedence over other shelter reservations.
The cost to reserve a shelter and to obtain an alcohol permit has remained the same as last year.
