Shirley A. Bark, age 85, of Waldo, Fla., formerly of Evans City, passed away Fri., June 23, 2023, in Florida.
Born in Butler on Sept. 12, 1937, she was a daughter of the late William and Edna Guthrie McIndoe.
She was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Shirley is survived by two sons, Robert Bark and his wife, Teresa, of Gainesville, Fla., and Greg Bark and his wife, Lori, of Zelienople; two grandchildren, Lacy M. Bark, of Crystal River, Fla., and Alex J. Bark, of Goodyear, Ariz.; one step-granddaughter, Andreya Whitenack, and one step-grandson, Johnathan Whitenack, both of Gainesville, Fla.; and one step-great granddaughter, Journey Rae Long, also of Gainesville.
She is also survived by two brothers, Richard McIndoe and his wife, Gail, of Fairfield, Iowa, and William Fay and his wife, Patricia, of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Bark, who passed away May 1, 2020; three brothers, William, Robert and Raymond McIndoe; and one sister, Kathryn Barheight.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Thurs., June 29, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Fri., June 30, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.
Burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
