Shirley “GG” Jones Matuke, 81, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 16, 2021 at her residence.
She was born August 31, 1939 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Edward Jones and the late Dorothy (Stevenson) Jones.
Shirley was a graduate of Butler High School. She worked as a secretary for Butler Stamping, and Osterling Sandblasting. Shirley enjoyed bingo and reading. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Sheri Davidson of Butler, PA; one granddaughter, Taylor Davidson, five great grandchildren, Lexi, Fallon, Jimmy, Annabelle and Lilly; two step daughters, Julie Lumpkin, and Michele Slupe; one step son, Al Matuke; five step grandchildren, Ashley, William, Gretchen, Erika and Jennifer; five nieces, Lori, Debbie, Dawn, Diana and Darcey; two nephews, Doug and Matthew and Uncle Jon Doutt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Matuke, granddaughter, Lindsay Selfridge, two sisters, Gertrude Brewster, and Marilynn Bodesheim.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:30 am at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc, 124 East North Street, Butler, PA with Pastor Joel A. Benson, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
