Local children had a chance to celebrate Christmas a little early with the help from the Butler Township Police Department.
The annual tradition pairs local officers with 40 children from the area, who then shop with the kids at the Butler Walmart.
It’s known as “Shop With A Cop” and the program has been happening for the last handful of years.
Walmart made a donation to the program and then the kids go through the store, picking out their favorite items.
