The number of local residents requiring hospitalization for serious COVID-19 symptoms has increased once again and more local deaths have been reported.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Monday morning 44 patients were hospitalized at Butler Memorial Hospital with six of those in the ICU.
This is an increase of four hospitalized and one more in the ICU compared to last Thursday.
The hospital reported two deaths to the state on Friday, one on Saturday, and two more on Sunday.
