Students at Butler County Community College and Slippery Rock University return to class today.
However they will not be attending class in-person, as both institutions started the spring semester remotely.
BC3 made those plans back in October and Slippery Rock followed suit in December.
Both schools hope to return at some point in February with a hybrid model.
BC3’s Session 1 courses on Feb. 8 will transition to their scheduled format. Scheduled formats include face-to-face, blended and hybrid, or the continuation of remote or online instruction.
