A Slippery Rock man is facing charges following the theft of equipment and other items over the last year and a half.
According to a criminal complaint filed by State Police, the thefts began in June of 2023 in Mercer County with two motor bikes stolen from a storage unit before continuing this year in Mercer and Slippery Rock.
In June, troopers served a search warrant at a residence in Slippery Rock belonging to 37-year-old Derek Cameron and found multiple items matching the descriptions of those that were stolen.
Cameron was not home at the time and police made multiple attempts to contact him including last month when he was supposed to come to the police barracks for an interview and never showed up. He has been charged with felony receiving stolen property.
