Slippery Rock University is receiving recognition by a national organization.
SRU was named as one of the top public schools in Pennsylvania and nationally by the online group Colleges of Distinction.
This is the ninth time Slippery Rock has received the honors from Colleges of Distinction, which serves as a guide for college-bound students to research different colleges and universities.
