Unity Week continues at Slippery Rock University with several upcoming events.
Unity Week is an effort of the SRU Student Union for Multicultural Affairs with a goal of bringing groups together for education and awareness, as well as a celebration of culture and diversity.
A guest speaker will discuss race relations on college campuses at an event at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. On Thursday at 6 p.m., an Autism Speaks Awareness Game will be held at the McFarland Recreational Sports Complex.
Finally, on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., a cultural showcase will be held at the SGA Bookstore Patio.
Events earlier this week focused on sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as diversity and conversations about gender identity.
