Slippery Rock University students are preparing to stage an upcoming production and the public is invited to attend.
The SRU Theatre Department is performing “Tragedy: a tragedy” starting Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Stoner West Black Box Theater. Additional shows at the same time will take place Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
Based on a play about a world where the sun sets and shows no sign of rising again, students will use projections and live-feed videography to realize this production with elements of comedy, tenderness, and hope.
Admission is $12 for those with SRU students IDs and $14 for the general public with tickets available on the SRU website or at the door.
