Slippery Rock University will be honoring Veterans Day with a live streaming ceremony.
SRU student Steven Pancoast, who is a veteran, will speak during the service, and will also recite the poem “My Name is Old Glory.”
Pancoast served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years before enrolling at Slippery Rock.
SRU is home to more than 100 student-veterans, and also 300 students who are military-affiliated.
Today’s service will be streamed starting at 11 a.m. on the university’s Facebook page.
