Student Safety Week continues on the campus of Slippery Rock University with several events planned for later this week.
The SRU Student Government Association organized the programs with a goal of raising awareness and preparing students for emergency response.
A Campus Crawl is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. starting from the second floor of the Smith Student Center to identify potential safety concerns. First Aid and Cardiac Emergency training is planned for Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Room 116 of the Vincent Science Center. Finally, Thursday at the same time and location the SRU Women’s Center is presenting a program called “What Would You Do?” about identifying and responding to high risk scenarios and suspicious activity.
All events are free.
