Slippery Rock University is once again receiving recognition by a national organization.
SRU was named as one of the top public schools in Pennsylvania and nationally for the upcoming academic year by the online resource Colleges of Distinction.
The group selects colleges of distinction through a process that includes in-depth research and detailed interviews that prioritize student engagement, teaching excellence, community involvement, and outcomes-based learning.
This is the 11th consecutive time SRU has received the honors from Colleges of Distinction, which serves as a guide for college-bound students to research different colleges and universities. SRU also received recognition for excellence in business, education, and nursing programs.
