A Slippery Rock University professor will be recognized by a regional professional organization at an upcoming event in Pittsburgh.
The Pittsburgh Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers plans to name SRU’s Dr. Xinchao “Steven” Wei as Professor of the Year at their annual banquet on Saturday.
This sold out event will feature a keynote speaker from the University of Pittsburgh as well as other awards and recognitions.
Dr. Wei will speak with our own Tracey Morgan on the Tuesday WISR News at Noon program about bridge construction in his capacity as Director of the SRU School of Engineering.
