Slippery Rock University is celebrating Pride Month in October with a mix of in-person and virtual events over the next several weeks.
The goal of Pride Month is to promote empowerment, education, and awareness of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and those who are queer or questioning.
The slogan of this year’s celebration is “Out and Proud” and those of all backgrounds and identities are invited to participate in activities such as a panel discussion on Zoom on October 13th, a trivia game on Zoom October 14th, a virtual drag show October 21st, and a Remembrance Vigil in the Quad on October 22nd.
