Slippery Rock University is hosting an evening with a best-selling author later this week.
The annual Common Read event sponsored by the SRU English Department will take place 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Theater in the Performing Arts Center.
More than 1,000 SRU students have been assigned to read “The Book of Delights” by Ross Gay this year. The evening will include Gay reading an excerpt from his best-selling collection of short essays as well as signing copies afterwards.
The public is invited to attend this free gathering.
