An upcoming Slippery Rock University program will educate students, faculty and staff about online safety and dangers.
The biannual SRU Cyberspace Event will be held on Tuesday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. both on Zoom as well as in person in Room 105 of the Vincent Science Center.
SRU students from multiple departments will present real-world case scenarios and live software demonstrations. A guest speaker and computer information professor will give a presentation about the online challenges from new threats like COVID and conflict in Ukraine.
Those interested in attending this free event are asked to complete an online registration form through the SRU website.
