Slippery Rock University has released details regarding this summer’s camps for kids.
Kids ages 7 through 12 can attend various summer day camps at the Macoskey Center for Sustainability Education and Research as well as the Storm Harbor Equestrian Center.
The first day-long camp is tomorrow (Monday) and participants will split between riding horses at 9:30 a.m. at the Equestrian Center followed by learning about animal homes and habitats until 3:30 p.m. at the Education Center.
Four sets of three-day camps for ages 4 to 14 will begin June 12th from 8 a.m. to noon or 4 p.m. and run until the middle of July. Themes include Farm to Fork, Nature Explorers, and Nature Art.
Camp costs vary from $90 to $150 per student, with family discounts available. Participants must bring their own lunch. Registration and full descriptions are available on the SRU website.
